Note frm Donnie Lorenzen: GEORGE ELMER LADD was born February 13, 1892, at Orofino, Idaho, where he spent his youth. In 1913 he decided to join his parents and brothers and sisters who had made a move to Fern Creek, Alberta (now known as Warburg). He met Coral Irene Mulligan, of Mulhurst, Alberta, born April 1, 1895, and married her in 1914. Their earlier years together were spent at Leduc, Alberta, where he operated a dray service, and was a barber. They moved to Mulhurst, Alberta, in 1921, and then moved to their Fern Creek farm (SW-5-48-2-W5), in 1931 where he remained until his death May 15, 1972. Corral died May 18, 1994.
