The Christian name of his father is unknown, but there are circumstances that seems to indicate that he may have been the son of Nathaniel . One of his descendants writes: "I have heard my father and Uncle Lemuel say that William, my grandfather, was an only son, and was born in Massachusetts about 1730, either in Haverhill or Cummington, and that my great grandfather Ezekiel was poisoned by the French or Indians, in the French and Indian War."
Ezekiel married Sarah BARSTOW on 30 Oct 1732 in Hanover, Plymouth Co, MA. (Sarah BARSTOW was born in Oct 1712 in Scituate, Plymouth Co, MA and died before 1752.)
