Notes from Warren Ladd: Born Oct 4, 1757. Settled at Woodstock, Ct and was deacon of the Congregational Church there. From there he removed to Woodstock, VT, where he purchased a large tract of wild land, built on it a log-house, commenced at once clearing it up, and lived on it as a farmer unitl he died.
Note from file: Revolutionary War, Nathaniel was a Minuteman at the Lexington Alarm and in 1777 re-inforced the army at Saratoga.
