Ezekiel LADD, I

Note from file: Ezekiel was one of the early settlers of Haverhil, N.H. He also was one of the first tavern-keepers and also had a tannery business. He was a man of prominence in the town, serving as a selectman for a number of years, and also as treasurer and one of the judges of the Court of Sessions.

Ezekiel Ladd, (1738-1818), was captain of militia in Bedel's New Hampshire regiment(1778-1779). He was born in Haverhill, Mass., and died in Haverhill, N. H. His son Joseph served in the company.
