Granddaughter of Denison Billings Williams and Hannah Avery, his wife.
Gr.-granddaughter of Youngs Avery and Eunice Latham, his wife.
Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Park Avery and Hannah Morgan, his wife; William Latham and Eunice Forsyth, his wife.
Park Avery, (1741-1821), served as lieutenant in the New York campaign and was at the surrender of Fort Washington. [p.241] He was a volunteer at Fort Griswold, 1781, where he was left for dead. He was born and died in Groton.
William Latham, (1742-92), served in the artillery, 1775, and, 1781, commanded a company at Fort Griswold.
