Asenath IVES
She was by nature well fitted for pioneer life; was ambitious, brave, capable, healthy, with strong powers of endurance. In 1814 she made a trip to Connecticut, three hundred miles, alone, and on horseback. Asenath married Horatio LADD, son of Ephraim LADD, I and Lois (Louise) CHAPMAN, on 30 Jan 1800. (Horatio LADD was born on 21 Jan 1780 in Tolland, Tolland Co, CT and died on 12 Jan 1850 in New Albany, Bradford Co, PA.) |
