Notes from Warren Ladd: He moved to Mt Desert, ME where he married Sarah Luvey. After his marrieage he returned and settled in Newbury, VT across the River from Haverhill, NH where four of his children were born. He enlisted as a soldier in the war of 1812, and died at Plattsburgh NY, of canker-rash. Soon after his death in 1812, his widow, with her children, returned to her father's house at Mt Desert, Me, where Sarah, their youngest child was born
