Notes from Warren Ladd: Born in the easterly part of the town, near the Lampry River. He built in Epping, MA, on the North River road, a handsome house upon an attractive estate, which was occupied by himself and his descendants for nearly a century. He was a man of cultivated tastes, and published some essays on moral and economical subjects.
Nathaniel married Mary AMES, daughter of Simon AMES, in Aug 1766 in Epping, Rockingham Co, NH. (Mary AMES was born in 1754 in Canterbury, Merrimack Co, NH and died on 12 Jul 1817 in Epping, Rockingham Co, NH.)
