Notes from Warren Ladd: He went to Worcester when quite young, and resided there until his death. He was engaged most of the time in the grocery business. He was a representative to the General Court, member of the common council, clerk of the board of overseers of the poor, and held other city offices.
Vernon married Rose HOLDEN. (Rose HOLDEN was born about 1828 in Mount Holly, Rutland Co, VT and died on an unknown date.)
