Caleb HOPKINS
Leon Clark Hill's "History and Genealogy of the Mayflower Planters": Caleb was born in Eastham and died in Truro intestate not long before May 22, 1728, when his son Caleb was appointed administrator. He appears in the first entry in the first book of records in possession of the town of Truro. It bears date June 17, 1690, and shows that he with six others were then proprietors of Pamet (Truro). Caleb married Mary WILLIAMS, daughter of Thomas WILLIAMS and Elizabeth TART, before 10 May 1692 in Eastham, MA. (Mary WILLIAMS was born on an unknown date and died before 1728.) |
