Note from Dawn Eby Quast: Notes for BARBARA EBY(3):
I am not convinced that Barbara's husband Jacob Hershey is the same Jacob Hershey who married her sister Elizabeth. Since Jacob died in 1819 and Barbara in 1816, he would have had to divorce Elizabeth to marry Barbara, as Elizabeth didn't die until 1835.

Jacob married Barbara EBY, daughter of Christian EBY and Elizabeth MAYER. (Barbara EBY was born on 14 Dec 1740 in Warwick, Lancaster Co, PA and died on 27 May 1816.)
