Note from Marge Rice: With regard to Lanson, son of Ira and Lucilla Ladd. He was listed in my mother's bible as a child of Ira. I always thought it was a mistake, but when researching the censuses at the Oswego County Records room, I found him listed in the Mortality Schedule in 1850 (died March 1850), so he did exist. In my records I have him estimated as born in 1841, but when checking the 1840 Census recently, there appears to be an extra child with Ira and Lucilla which would make his birth in 1840 or earlier (age 1-5). His name was Lanson O. Ladd.
