From the 1892 Historical Atlas of Paulding County: Educated in the common schools and became a student of medicine @ the University of Iowa; he graduated from there in 1888. He came to Ohio and finished his studies under the preceptorship of his brother, Dr. L. E. LADD. He located in Broughton, Paulding County, Ohio, where he has since resided [1892] to the enjoyment of a lucrative patronage. Dr. LADD is a member of the Paulding County and the Northwestern medical societies, and a member of the Republican Party.
